Officials in Dubuque are still waiting to hear from organizers of the Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, or RAGBRAI. The city of Dubuque has sent a letter of request along with an application to be the last stop for riders in the 2020 ride. Becoming one of the stops on the bike route would be a big economic boost for Dubuque. Planning of the event may be delayed as four staff members of RAGBRAI recently left in a dispute to start their own bike ride next summer. Dubuque last hosted RAGBRAI in 2010.
