A 57-year-old Dubuque woman has been cited following a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon. Police say Mary Plein was stopped at a stop sign going north on Grandview when she pulled into the intersection at Kane Street. Her vehicle was struck by 28-year-old Cody Newcomer of Dubuque – who was driving east on Kane Street. According to a report, Plein was taken to Unity-Point Health-Finley Hospital with back pain. The report also says Newcomer drove himself to a hospital with neck and elbow pain. Plein has been cited with failure to obey a stop sign.
