A 16 year old from Hazel Green was injured in a one vehicle crash Saturday in Smelser Township. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, 16 year old Jenna Cooper was traveling east on Model Road when her vehicle left the road and entered the right ditch. Cooper over corrected, crossed the center line and crashed into the north ditch. Cooper suffered injuries and was taken to Midwest Medical Center in Galena. The vehicle was a total loss. Assisting the Sheriff’s Office was the Cuba City Fire Department, Cuba City EMS and Munyon’s Towing of Cuba City.
