U-S Senator Chuck Grassley says he has no inkling how long the impeachment trial of President Trump will last. The Iowa Republican said, “at least two weeks and beyond two weeks is pretty hard for me to say.” There continues to be debate over the witness list and Democrats will be asking for witnesses ahead of the rules established by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Grassley says “that’s going to be controversial, but with 51 votes, I’m sure those motions are going to be tabled.” The trial begins today and will run six days a week.
