Police say a convicted sex offender who cut off his ankle bracelet in November was arrested Monday in Dubuque when he assaulted his girlfriend. 24 year old Dorien Lemon was arrested Monday on charges of domestic assault with injury, domestic assault impeding airflow with injury, providing false identification information, voluntary absence from custody and a parole violation. Reports say that Lemon, who was convicted in October 2016 of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, was moved to a state correctional facility on October 22nd.
