A 17-year-old from Dubuque is asking to have his attempted murder case moved to a juvenile court. Reports say Emmanuel Fountain Jr. was 16-years-old last May when he and his brother confronted another teen in a Dubuque alley near 18th and White Streets. The brothers fired multiple shots at an unidentified 15-year-old – who was not harmed. Fountain was arrested earlier this year on charges of attempted murder and possessing ecstasy. An attorney for Fountain says the juvenile court has not waived its jurisdiction over the case as of yet. There’s no word yet when a judge may issue his ruling on moving the case.
