Southwest Arterial Interchanges Now Open

Both interchanges at U.S. Highway 20 and the Southwest Arterial in Dubuque have opened to traffic. In addition, Seippel Road has fully reopened. With the opening of the interchange to the north of U.S. Highway 20, direct access from that highway to the Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency landfill will no longer be available. The Southwest Arterial, which will link U.S. Highway 20 to U.S. Highway 61/151 near Tamarack Business Park, remains closed. It is expected to open this summer.
