Construction of New Resurrection Elementary School Put On Hold

Plans to build a new Resurrection Elementary School in Dubuque have been put on hold for now. Officials decided not to start construction on the project this year because of uncertainties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Reverend Phil Gibbs, pastor at Church of the Resurrection says he’s hopeful that the construction of the new Catholic school will begin next spring. Officials had hoped to break ground at the end of the recently completed school year.
