Western Dubuque Schools To Begin School Year Earlier

Western Dubuque Community School Board members on Monday unanimously approved a plan that extends the next school year. Students will have an additional 11 days of instruction in the next school year. Students now will start school August 13th, rather than August 24th, and the last day is pushed back from May 27th to June 2nd.
