Officials with the Dubuque County Historical Society announced that the annual Taste of Dubuque will not be held this year. The event was set for August 6th in the Port of Dubuque, but organizers say they had to cancel it over concerns related to COVID-19. In years past, the Taste of Dubuque has given regional restaurants an opportunity to showcase their culinary creations. According to a release, plans are in the works to hold some smaller events that can meet safety guidelines. Details on those festivities aren’t finalized – though organizers say they will likely happen in the outdoor space by the National Mississippi River Museum.
