Dubuque Food Event Canceled

Officials with the Dubuque County Historical Society announced that the annual Taste of Dubuque will not be held this year. The event was set for August 6^th in the Port of Dubuque, but organizers say they had to cancel it over concerns related to COVID-19. In years past, the Taste of Dubuque has given regional restaurants an opportunity to showcase their culinary creations. According to a release, plans are in the works to hold some smaller events that can meet safety guidelines. Details on those festivities aren’t finalized – though organizers say they will likely happen in the outdoor space by the National Mississippi River Museum.
