East Dubuque Motorcycle Crash

An East Dubuque man was found unresponsive early Sunday following a motorcycle crash in rural Jo Daviess County. According to a report from the sheriff’s office, 38-year-old Michael Leibold was discovered along North Badger road near Ridge Drive around 6:30am. Investigators say that Leibold had wrecked his motorcycle in a single-vehicle accident. He was taken to Mercy-One Dubuque Medical Center and then airlifted to University of Iowa Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Leibold faces a charge of driving with a suspended license. An investigation is ongoing.
