As it stands, Governor Tony Evers’ mask mandate order is set to expire on September 28. That has some school districts wondering what they should do within their buildings going forward. The topic of keeping a mask mandate for schools is something many administrators have been talking about with their school boards. That item is on the agenda for discussion at a Cuba City school board meeting tonight (Sept. 16). Of the roughly 30 southwest Wisconsin districts the CESA 3 office serves, half of those schools have said they will continue using masks – while the other half have not responded yet about what they have planned.
