A northeast Iowa man will serve 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple charges related to an April car chase. According to reports, 30-year-old Kevin Krapfl Jr of Manchester had pled guilty to charges of causing serious injury with a vehicle, leaving the scene of a crash, 3rd-offense operating while intoxicated, and operating with an interlock device. Authorities say the incident started the afternoon of April 18th in Oelwein – when Krapfl struck a pedestrian and led law enforcement on a chase through multiple counties. The chase ended when Krapfl hit a squad car and severely injured a Buchanan County Sheriff’s Deputy.
