Iowa wrestling great Dan Gable will be presented with the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Monday in Washington, D-C. President Trump announced that Gable would receive the nation’s highest civilian honor in October. The 71 year old Gable won three state championships for Waterloo West and lost just one match in college while winning two N-C-A-A titles at Iowa State. He won Olympic gold in 1972. The medal ceremony will be held at 10:30 a-m Monday.
