The possibility exists that vaccinations at Dubuque nursing homes could be delayed. The Iowa Health Department said Monday the county would be getting a shipment of 400 doses of the Moderna vaccine this week, but not an expected shipment of the Pfizer vaccine. It could mean the start of vaccinations at longterm care facilities may be pushed back as a result. The Dubuque County COVID-19 Incident Management Team says 400 doses of the Moderna vaccine will go to the hospitals around the county.
