Authorities Looking At Checking Account of Man Who Died in March

Dubuque police are investigating a suspected fraud case involving the checking account of a man who died in March. 78 year old Joseph Magno of Dubuque died on March 8th.  A report says between 2016 and February, a series of suspected unauthorized checks were written from Magno’s account totaling nearly $39,000. The suspicious checks were reported to police on Wednesday.
