Motor Scooter Crash in Jo Daviess County

One person was injured in a motor scooter crash Wednesday afternoon in Jo Daviess County. 52 year old Kevin Schleuning of Scales Mound was taken by ambulance to Midwest Medical Center in Galena for treatment. According to the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Burrall Avenue and Jackson Street in Scales Mound.  Schleuning was operating the motor scooter and lost control of it and laid it onto its side. Authorities in Jo Daviess County are investigating the crash.
