One Person Injured After Causing 4-Vehicle Crash

One person was injured in a crash involving four vehicles Tuesday morning in Dubuque. 24 year old Dwayne Matthew of Dubuque, was taken by ambulance to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.  The crash happened on University Avenue just east of Wood Street at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday. Police say Matthew was traveling north when he lost control of his vehicle. It struck a parked vehicle, pushing it into a second parked vehicle, which was pushed into a third. According to Dubuque Police, Matthew was cited with failure to maintain control of his vehicle, no valid driver’s license and using an electronic device while driving.
