More Details on Dubuque Accident Death

Additional details have been released regarding a work-related accident that killed a Dubuque County man. The Iowa State Patrol says 24-year-old Brandon Davidshofer of Worthington was electrocuted Saturday. In a release, authorities say Davidshofer was cleaning out a dump truck that had been hauling asphalt. As he raised the dump box, the box struck a power line. Officials say electricity went thru the vehicle and into Davidshofer’s body while he was touching the dump box controls. He was pronounced dead at the scene along St Joe’s Prairie Road south of Dubuque.
