Three-Vehicle Crash in Dubuque Tuesday Afternoon

One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Dubuque. 44 year old Lester Sibok of Dubuque was taken by ambulance to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center for treatment. According to Dubuque police, the crash occurred at the intersection of Kerper Boulevard and Fengler Street just before 3 p.m. Tuesday. Police said 21 year old Mikayla Bartow of Hazel Green was traveling north on Kerper Boulevard when she tried to turn onto Fengler. Bartow failed to yield when making a left turn and struck Sibok’s vehicle, which was traveling south on Kerper. Bartow’s vehicle then struck a vehicle driven by 33 year old Jessica McGovern of Dubuque which was stopped in traffic facing east on Fengler. Bartow was cited with failure to yield upon making a left turn.
