Mines of Spain Suicide

The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that there was a suspected suicide early Wednesday at the Mines of Spain. The sheriff’s office says deputies were called shortly after 8am to the parking lot at the state recreation area. Upon arrival, authorities discovered the deceased individual. The name of the person has not been released at this time. The death is not being considered suspicious.
