An East Dubuque man is scheduled to be sentenced in mid-November after pleading guilty to a gun charge. Court reports show 47-year-old Jeremy Arling entered a plea to a charge of unlawful possession of firearms or ammunition. He initially was charged with four counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm, as well as a count each of possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. One charge was amended to unlawful firearm possession and all other charges were dismissed. Arling was arrested after a raid at an East Dubuque business in early March. His sentencing hearing is set for November 15.
