Dubuque Regional Humane Society Hires New Director

A new executive director has been named for Dubuque Regional Humane Society.  Noelle Chesney, a Texas native, will fill a vacancy created by the recent retirement of Tonya Millard, who had served as the executive director of the organization since 2019. Chesney is the nonprofit’s fourth director in four years.  Chesney is a former founding executive and artistic director of Brick Road Theatre and has worked in nonprofit settings for more than 20 years. Chesney’s hiring comes as the adoption program is running at record high levels and the annual Tails at Twilight Gala is being planned for November 11th.
