Two People Injured in Two Vehicle Crash in Dubuque

Police say two people were injured Wednesday when a driver ran a red light and caused a crash in Dubuque. 29 year old Theron McNeal of Dubuque was taken by ambulance to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital for treatment. 17 year old Taylor Carr of Dubuque was injured but not taken by ambulance to a hospital. The crash happened at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Jackson and East 20th streets. A report says that 28 year old Antonio Kitch of Dubuque was eastbound on East 20th Street while McNeal was southbound on Jackson Street.  Kitch failed to respond to the red light at the intersection and broadsided McNeal’s vehicle. Carr was a passenger in McNeal’s vehicle. Kitch was cited with failure to respond to a steady red signal.
