Two People Injured in Two Vehicle Crash in Dubuque

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday in Dubuque. 61 year old Wanda Simpson of Dubuque and 42 year old Billy Simpson of Dubuque both were taken by ambulance to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center for treatment. According to police, the crash happened at about 11 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Central Avenue and 13th Street. Police say 55 year old James Reynen of Plattsmouth, Nebraska and Wanda Simpson both were driving south on Central when Reynen tried to make a left turn onto 13th Street, cut in front of Simpson’s vehicle and collided with it. Billy Simpson was a passenger in Wanda Simpson’s vehicle. Reynen was cited with failure to maintain control of his vehicle.
