Police arrested a man after they said he led officers on a high-speed chase that reached 90 mph in a 55-mph zone Wednesday in Dubuque. 26 year old Troy Koranda was arrested Wednesday in the area of West First and Locust Streets on a charge of eluding. Officers responded at about 6:10 p.m. Wednesday around Greyhound Park Road for a report of a single-vehicle crash. The vehicle left the scene traveling at a high rate of speed south on U.S. Highway 61/151, at one point traveling 90 mph in a 55-mph zone. After committing multiple traffic offenses, Koranda stopped his vehicle near First and Locust Streets. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine residue and drug paraphernalia.
