Garage Fire in Dubuque County

Multiple fire departments responded to a blaze in rural Dubuque County on Monday afternoon. Officials report that crews were called for a garage fire around 1:30 near Holy Cross. According to the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department, firefighters from Holy Cross, Farley and New Vienna assisted at the scene. No injuries were reported and the blaze is not believed to be suspicious. A cause for the fire wasn’t included in the report. Damage to the garage is estimated at $25-thousand dollars.
