Dubuque Stopping In Person Payments

Staff shortages at City of Dubuque facilities has led to officials saying they are suspending in-person payments of bills and fines. According to a release, the staff shortage is releated to COVID-19. The suspension of in-person payments at City Hall is temporary. Residents still have the option to pay online through the city’s website, over the phone by calling 563 – 589 – 4144, dropping off checks in the box located at the 13th Street enterance to City Hall, or by mailing checks to city hall.
