Dubuque County Barn Fire

Authorities say no injuries were reported in a barn fire Thursday afternoon in Dubuque County. According to a release, crews were called to the farm along Laban Road in Bernard just before 2:30. Departments from Bernard, Cascade and Farley responded to the scene. The fire damaged the barn plus equipment in the building. Reports estimate the damage at $80-thousand dollars. Officials do not believe the cause of the fire is suspicious in nature.
