A 10-year-old in Jones’ vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. A 9-year-old was thrown from the vehicle and airlifted to a Rockford hospital. Jones was also airlifted to Rockford for treatment. He pled guilty to a felony count of driving with a revoked license. There was no evidence of drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of the crash.
