NICC Selects New President

Northeast Iowa Community College leaders have selected their next president. Members of the college’s Board of Trustees this morning voted to appoint Herbert Riedel to lead the school. He will succeed Liang Chee Wee, whose last day is June 30st. Riedel most recently was president of Wallace Community College in Alabama. He was one of four finalists for the position selected by trustees in December. The finalists visited NICC for in-person interviews in January.
