A Dubuque man – who stole a gun in Davenport – has been sentenced to 3 years of supervised probation. Reports show that 27-year-old Danny Woodcox pled guilty in a Scott County Court to charges of possession of a firearm by a felon and 4th-degree theft. As part of his deal, a second charge of possession of a firearm by a felon and a charge of interference with official acts were dismissed. Police say the charges are connected to a September 21st incident when Woodcox stole a firearm from a home. He fired two rounds from his own revolver into the air and then fled the area on foot before being arrested.
