East Dubuque Man Arrested For Damage At Hospital

Dubuque Police say a man caused more than $11,000 worth of damage when he threw a chair through doors and flipped over a table at a Dubuque hospital. 27 year old Tyler Connolly of East Dubuque was arrested Wednesday at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center on a charge of first-degree criminal mischief. A report says that Connolly, a patient, threw a chair at a pair of entry doors, damaging both as well as nearby flooring. He also overturned a table, breaking its top and damaging a wall Tuesday night. The total damage was estimated at $11,600. Police say that Connolly was angry with hospital staff.
