Court reports show that a 24-year-old Dubuque man has been deemed not competent to stand trial in a sexual abuse case. Authorities have charged Dakota Carlson with 2nd-degree sexual abuse related to an incident last fall. According to report, Carlson abused a boy who is under the age of 10. Carlson was ordered to undergo competency restoration following a hearing earlier this month. A report on his status will be filed within 60 days of his arrival at a psychiatric facility.
