The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium has been awarded $2,500 from the American Fundraising Foundation. The money is part of an expanded effort to support nonprofit organizations impacted during the pandemic. The Golden Pear Award, as it is called, was given to 40 recipients from a pool of over 2,000 grant applicants. Funds awarded to the River Museum will support daily needs associated with maintaining the health and well-being of both living and historic collections.
