Strong Storms Could Be in Forecast

A strong storm could be moving into the Midwest this weekend. There will be the potential for strong to severe thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon/evening as a result. The Storm Prediction Center has outlined a slight risk (2 out of 5) for severe weather for much of the state. The primary threat would be strong winds, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out due to a lot of wind shear (spin) expected in the atmosphere.
