Road crews are expected to begin work today (April 14th) along Highway 20 in East Dubuque. According to the Illinois DOT, the project will redesign a roughly one-mile stretch of the roadway. That section of Highway 20 will go from 4 lanes down to 3 – which includes a middle turn lane. Crews are also scheculed to complete patching and an asphalt overlay on the road. Future lane closures are planned during the work, so motorists should be prepared for delays. The $1.2-million dollar project in East Dubuque should be done by mid-June.
