More details have been released regarding a fatal house fire from early Saturday in northeast Iowa. Delaware County authorities say 9-year-old Brooklyn Lendt died in the blaze at a Greeley home. Emergency crews were called around 3:30a for reports of a house fire with a child inside the residence. Officials found the girl’s body in the building. They say the home is a total loss. According to investigators, the fire was likely caused by an electrical issue.
