Woman Struck By Vehicle In Gas Station Parking Lot

Authorities say a woman was struck by a vehicle and injured in the parking lot of a Dubuque County gas station. 62 year old Catherine Wiskus of Colesburg was taken by ambulance to Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics for treatment of a leg injury. According to the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department, 46 year old Lynn Vorwald of Dyersville was driving away from a fuel pump at J&D Mart in New Vienna on April 22nd when her vehicle struck Wiskus, who was walking across the parking lot. No citations have been issued in connection with the incident.
