Fayette County Man Faces More Charges

A Fayette County man – who was already in custody for the sexual assault of a child – is now facing additional charges related to three other victims. A warrant was put out for 45-year-old Matthew Nordrum’s arrest, but he turned himself in to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday. He is charged with 2nd-Degree Sexual Abuse for allegedly committing a sex act on a 3-year-old girl at a daycare in April. A criminal complaint says Nordrum was the boyfriend of the daycare provider. Now, Nordrum is facing another count of 2nd-Degree Sexual Abuse, and two counts of Indecent Exposure in the presence of a minor, for three additional child victims. He is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
