Fatal Semi Crash South of Dubuque

A man from California died in a semi crash Friday morning just south of Dubuque. The Iowa State Patrol reports that 54-year-old David Attebery died at the scene. Emergency crews were called around 9:40a to the ramp connecting Highways 61 and 151. According to the state patrol, Attebery was driving north when he failed to negotiate the curve of the ramp. His semi tractor trailer left the roadway and rolled. Attebery was ejected from the vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.
