A northern Iowa man – who pled guilty to civil disorder at the US Capitol on January 6th – will serve jail time. A federal judge sentenced Daryl Johnson to 30 days in prison and $4-thousand dollars in fines. His son Daniel from Austin, Minnesota will serve 4 months on the same charge. The Johnsons were captured on video breaking into the Capitol and then later rushing police to let more people into the building. Johnson is one of 8 Iowans charged with crimes from January 6th and is the first to be sentenced.
