John Deere To Move Some Production To Mexico

John Deere isn’t saying yet how plans to move some production to Mexico will affect staffing levels. The company has sent an email to its Waterloo employees announcing it is transferring the production of all cabs, welding, and assembly to a location south of the border. The work will be moved in phases – and the process should be complete by 2024.  Deere will move new programs into that space over the next 18 months.
