Authorities say a Wisconsin woman arrested for driving drunk last year near Dubuque provided another woman’s identification information to authorities. 25 year old Antionah Butler of Milwaukee was arrested Wednesday on warrants charging forgery, identity theft, obstructing prosecution, malicious prosecution and failure to have a valid driver’s license. Reports say that Butler was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated on July 17, 2021 in Dubuque. During her arrest, she provided a Wisconsin driver’s license belonging to another woman and identified herself as that woman, signing all related paperwork, citations and jail booking information with the other woman’s name. Butler’s true identity only was revealed later, when the other woman contacted the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department asking why her license had been suspended in the state of Iowa.
