Resurfacing of the southbound lanes of the Northwest Arterial from John F. Kennedy to just north of Pennsylvania Avenue is now complete. The next phase of the Northwest Arterial State of Good Repair Project is resurfacing the arterial’s southbound lanes from just north of Pennsylvania Avenue to U.S. Highway 20, as well the arterial’s northbound lanes from U.S. Highway 20 to the Catfish Creek Bridge. Milling of the southbound lanes from just north of Pennsylvania Avenue to U.S. Highway 20, as well as the northbound lanes from U.S. Highway 20 to the Catfish Creek Bridge, is scheduled to begin tonight. Motorists can expect alternating lane closures. Flaggers will be on site to control and assist traffic. The contractor plans to mill between 9pm and 7am tonight into tomorrow.
