Dubuque Man Accused of Assault and Displaying Knives

A Dubuque man is accused of assaulting his then-girlfriend and displaying two knives. 52 year old Marcus Gordon was arrested Wednesday on a warrant charging domestic assault with display or use of a weapon. A report states that 48 year old Angela Ward reported on May 19th that Gordon had assaulted her at their residence. She said she and Gordon got into an argument, and Ward went into her bedroom to lie down. Gordon came into the bedroom and picked up two butcher knives and threatened her. A warrant for Gordon’s arrest was issued on May 31st.
