The Dubuque Dream Center will host an open house from 4:30 to 6 p.m. next week on Thursday, at the center on 1600 White Street. At the event, the staff will discuss the program’s upcoming plans for the space, including youth programs that provide mentoring, arts and athletic opportunities, career development and academic assistance. The Dubuque Community School Board voted last month to sell the former Fulton Elementary School to the center.
