Authorities say a person was killed in an ATV crash Wednesday near Manchester. Officials with the Iowa State Patrol have not yet released the name of the deceased. A crash report states that an ATV was traveling south of Manchester at about 3:10 p.m. when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which entered a ditch, bottomed out and ejected all riders. The report does not identify the driver, nor does it state how many people were involved in the crash. One rider was hit by the ATV and suffered fatal injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
