A local nonprofit is receiving $1 million to help advance homeownership opportunities. Dubuque and Jackson Counties Habitat for Humanity is among 16 organizations receiving funds through the Iowa HOME Grant Program. The Dubuque and Jackson counties affiliate is receiving $1,066,895, which will be used to assist six homes.
