Special Election in Peosta To Fill City Council Vacancy

A special election is being held today in Peosta to fill a City Council vacancy. Eric Ostermann, Brian Schatz and Wesley Wedewer are running to fill the remaining term of Doug Hughes, who resigned his seat last year. The winner will serve on the City Council until the end of the year and will need to run for the seat again in the November election if he wishes to continue on the City Council. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Peosta Community Centre.
